I'll be having the following specs in some time :

    Intel 2.8Ghz with HT
    Asus P4P800 Deluxe Edition
    Kingston 2 * 256MB DDR400
    2 * 120GB Seagate Baracude ( 7200 Rpm )
    MSI CD Writer 52x/24x/52x
    MSI Dvd Rom 16x
    A Floppy Drive
    Radeon 9800 Pro
    A Decent Sound Card.
    56K Internal Fax Modem.
    USR 56k External.
    USB Cable Modem.
    Ethernet Adapter.
    2 HD Coolers.
    Around 7 Case Fans.
    PCI Slot Cooler.

Could anyone please tell me which PSU would be the best choice for me. Like how many Walts and of which company. Give me around three choices, categorized according to budget.

I would go for 430+ watts.
Antec or Enermax are a good choice (my favourite antec true control 550 ;) )
They're not cheap but are worth the money.

depends on how much noise you want, and how much you want to spend :)

My Enermax 431W whisper PSU is nice and quiet, although there are quieter models out now...

Not sure how good current enermax PSUs are, I've heard good things about antec's True Blue range, and also heard encouraging things about the Globalwin range > http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Globalwin_psu.html

I just bought an Antec TrueBlue 480, haven't fitted it to my proper PC yet, it's attached to my spare till the swap.

Looks good, sounds good. I like it. :thumb:

I've been using a 400W AOpen PSU for years. It's actually a Sparkle rebadged by AOpen. I got it for next to nothing from Dabs.

I've run dual Athlons, 15k SCSI drives, the whole heap off it, and it's been solid as a rock.

Go with an Antec. Nothing against Enermax though. They are great PSU's but I have heard more good things about Antec.
