i dont know i sleep. all i know is that when i wake up i only have 1 out of my four pillows still on the bed. i must have like a subconcious warm pillow remover
Beat me to it I used to sleep on my back, until for some reason and quite suddenly I couldn't anymore, because I'd hear my breathing go "wrong". Or something along those lines. Either way, ex-girlfriend confirmed that when I was sleeping on my back, she was wide awake, trying to nudge me to turn over. Now I always sleep on my front, only on my side when I'm not alone (and cupping me some boob, of course).
I can't stand to have my stomach/chest exposed even when I sleep. Hell, I normally lean forwards and rest my elbows on my knees rather then leaning back. I dunno, maybe I just have a strong guarding instinct.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/3112170.stm I'm a Foetus. And that's actually the most accurate out of the list in describing my personality too. Weird eh?
It doesn't matter. I have always slept with my arms under the pillow, so even if my head is hot I have the surface area of my arms and hands to cool down my body.
While I do respect behavioural psychology and it is something I am interested in, I am not sure how true this can possibly be. Perhaps in a controlled environment. But I know for a fact that if its cold I curl up (foetus), if its warm I spread out (free-fall) and I often wake up in any of the other positions.
if only it was that easy for everyone as i find that if its warm i kick off my duvet and then get cold and stay cold or if its cold i will wrap myself up so im nice and snug
I voted cold side, but really it's whatever I can wrestle away from mr 'pillow hogging' martin, or Joe as he's otherwise known. That man doesnt like sharing comfort.
