Not true, gaming was the worst part of the X-Fi card i had. It was the game edition aswell.

    Asus all the way. :thumb:

Yes I have both and my xoner is alot better for drum machines and playing my guitar through and the Xfi is better in games if you use some decent speaker or an amp :)

the new Xfi Titanium look good as it has eax 5 and dolby digital encoding Im tempted to buy but Im waiting for some sound clips.

Im abit of a sound freak shhh

Thanks, guys, now it looks like Xonar is indeed a better choice.

Also I noticed Creative's new product, the Titanium thing..? I'm not sure
(the name is as long as a Tennessee freight train!!)
Looks like an old dog with some new trick...Dolby? EMI shield? PCIe?
Kinda weird to see that ASUS, being new to this market, adopted those above even earlier....

Any love for Creative's new stuff?

no, because creative cut those tricks out of the x-fi's drivers just to sell the new cards. i bought mine a year ago, and im not spending 90 odd quid on a product that only lasts a year.
