I really need to get some tubing for my system, but not sure which one. Ideally I don't want silicone, due to it's colour, so if I'm going for ordinary stuff, which/where from? The surgical grade stuff over on extreme cooling sounds like what I'm after (nice and cheap) but dunno on it's reliability. So the most important things are transparency, and reliability. Please help!!
Get clearflex or Tygon. They are expensive but don't harden like vinyl tubing. The clear stuff you are referring to is vinyl I think. Clearflex and Tygon have the superior properties of silicone, but are transparent. They are the tubing of choice just about everywhere I've looked now. They are available from pclincs.co.uk 8-ball
Damn that Tygon is expensive! But, i gotta have it. Unfortunately it's only avail in 1/2", and I need 1/2, 3/8 and 1/4!! So I'm just off to google to do a little searching. Thanks for the info.
Here ya go but not sure if itll send you to the right place or if they ship internationaly.... http://www.google.com/url?q=http://...NX-845BkrqsUZ3BsdlbMatHTzswOcCBEAkOBAABEQAYaB [edit] go tygon tubing *3rd row from the bottom* -> then try the beverage tubing....[/edit]
Why is everything so cheap in America?! Damn yankees! TBH, I'd rather not order from US coz it's gonna take a couple of weeks to come, if they do deliver. So, if I can't have tygon, is there a similar quality tubing available?
Why, for 1/4" barbs of course! Seriously, I shall be watercooling my graphics card soon, and the mem will have 1/4" barbs. So will the Hard disk cooler, probably.
