Well, our old Linksys WAG54G has finally kicked the bucket and now holds a record average sustained connection time of 4 minutes, after over a year of being unable to provide a wireless connection, crashing randomly every hour and refusing to improve (and in some cases just getting worse) when flashed with the 'latest' firmware. I've lost my patience with the hunk of junk (as have most people on the net by ther looks of the message boards).

I am now in the market for a new ADSL modem/router/switch all in one jobby. HAving been burnt repeatedly by wireless combo devices I've decided to avoid that rout and get an old fashioned wired network up and running (Using the kit left over from Dreamscape, our last great tech palace). I'm trying to decide between the D-Link 504T, US Robotics Superconnect and Netgear DG834. After a lot of googling I've decided to put the question out to bit and find out what peoples personal experiences with these products have been like. How do they stand up to p2p and video conferencing in your experience?

The chosen router will provide the ADSL connection to the house, no need for VPN.

Cheers for any info you guys can offer :thumb:
