Finally getting my pornband back (6 months with 56k after having 1Mb was annoying to say the least...) and I have no idea whats out there at the moment.

    What I need:

Wires-only (I already have all my hardware :))
    1Mb acceptable but pref. 2Mb
Speedy activation (I don't want to be hanging round for a month while they type in some details...)
    Good cust. experiences...
    Static IP.
    Decent amount of webspace.

So - anyone got any ideas?

PS: I was previously with Fast24 - good service, slow to activate me but the line was great once it was up and running.

Can't speak from experience (I'm still on 28.8K!), but ADSL Guide seem to have some good reviews and advice.

I'm with http://www.force9.co.uk (they have something to do with plusnet)
Plenty of webspace (250MB I think - I'm using well over 100MB atm)
VERY good pings (sub 20ms with decent hardware)
Decent customer service - reply to emails/0845 telephone support was also good
    Static ip
    Activation took 8 days

force9 is the business/commercial arm of home/residential Plusnet, I believe.

Plusnet does the job for me! iirc the exchange was enabled on the 4th and I was able to use my account on the 10th.

    Depends what you want really.

I wanted a no contract and no connection charge so i pay £24.99 with Virgin.net

When i move into my new place with my g/f i will prob go with adsl4less or EFH

adslguide.org as posted above is a great site though ..... check out the message board :)
