Hi everyone, I have been invited to an interview roadshow as I applied to Thomas Cook for a job as a tour rep and have made it thro to the next stage. I have to do a presentation on who I most admire/respect and wondered what you guys would do yours about??
Who I most respect/admire ? Hmm. I don't know. I have a lot fo respect for a lot of people. Although I guess in the end it'd have to be my parents. Without them I'd be nowhere. Especially the bit about birth Guki'su !
Looks like somebody forgot their closing tags Another person I'd have ot say I have quite a bit of respect for, would be Eminem. I hate him, I don't liek his music, I don't liek his voice. But I respect him for being able to do what he wants to do, without being swayed by public opinion like a pawn.
Its kind of a problem because, after some thought, most of the people i respect you would never have heard of. I certainly don't hold any respect for people that suck copious amounts of money for doing something that isn't hardwork and/or doesn't help anyone. <cough>footballers</cough>
as of right now I can't think of anyone that I really admire or respect. If we are allowed to use historical figures, then Ben Franklin is the person I admire/respect most. He
the person i respect the most is my father. he had a really **** childhood, his father is a totall ******** and kicked him out the house when he was 15, he got into loads of fights and went off the rails. but now he has his own company, everyone respects and admires him and the blokes that work for him will do anything for him. he is the funniest/smartest/nicest person i kno (besides cheryl and my mum of course) and it took me so long to realise this. big up to my dad!!! and of course there is also cheryl, who has been through loads of **** and is still lovely and i love her loads thanx
even if I dont agree with them, people like tony blair get my respect. he is doing something that will very likely Jeopardise his career because he believes that something needs to be done. (ps im not turning this into a political debate on iraq so noone needs to mention it!! OK.....)
Interestingly enough I was going to write something similar, but decided I didn't know enough about Tony Blair to make such a statement. Weird...
Sounds like my dad ToMmEh,<remembers teh time when my mum called me a, a, NERD!> but with out the 'apart from my mum part' <scowls at mother> <simpons comic book shop owner voice>Worst-insult-EVER!</simpons comic book shop owner voice>
I respect anyone who can make it from birth to death without doing things just because someone said they should. And I have even more respect for those who can live this way and be happy.
