I don't know if this sort of thing is allowed on this site and if it isn't please dis-regard and delete this post.

I am wondering if anyone is decent with Maya? It's a 3d modeling software used by Industrial light and Magic and Pixar. I ask this because I am interested in hiring someone who is good with Maya or similar 3d modeling software to help me complete a project. If you are interested please msg me or post in this thread. Thank you.

Need to explain what sort of quality render your going to need. I.E can be be done with someone who has 6months knowledge of toying with maya (like me), who can do basic textured renders, or are you looking for a seasoned veteran - who can implement advanced physics and entire environments etc?

Well basically. I want to have a model of a car. And be able to zoom into the car down to the screws that hold the thing together. And be able to fully interact with it. Kind of like the old Ford F-150 commercial that they used to run on tv all the time.

The project I have in mind isn't a car. But that's the sort of idea I'm shooting for. I don't need advanced physics or crazy high res textures.

I hope that helps explain the level or skill I'm looking for.

Also, a little communications/networking knowledge would be freakin' awesome!
