QFT. This is a tech/modding site; I see Rep as better evidence that a member gives good tech advice and/or knows his/her modding than some member with a big post-count picked up from 1-liners in Project Logs or GD.

So if you get a helpful reply to your questions, or learn something new, praise the Lord and press the Reputation.

it's because back when the rep system was first put in place, the mods were giving out 50-100 points for a single post. now that they've opened it up to everybody, when you award rep you are giving 5 points, so it takes a little longer to build up.

If you click on User CP, it should be in the middle under subscribed posts :thumb:

Well, I used it at first, but I'm very sparse with it... But I don't think a lot of people use it...

At least I know where to look now. It still doesn't do me much good though as I have no indication that I've been deemed worthy. :waah:

See, supertoad, I'm not the only one who overestimates its value and thinks of it as golddust :)

I'm trying to get into the habit of awarding rep more frequently and consistently, but it kinda breaks the normal flow of my forum usage so I always forget.

I deserve rep. I've been really nice to everyone recently. Don't make me go 2007 on your asses...

You can't, you can only report them. So you can't just spam negative feedback because you disagree with someone and/or are bigoted (like happens all the time on youtube feeds). But you can flag a post if it's genuinely objectionable.

Can't see why you'd need anything else, unless you just like destroying peoples' credibility.
