    It's a toss up between Poe and the Bard, ol' quakin' Shakespeare. Poe made a poem so good that it was a whole story in a Treehouse of Horror episode of the Simpsons, 95% word-for-word, and Shakespeare... hell, I know it's kinda odd for a dude to say this, but the Baz Luhrmann version of Romeo + Juliet was frickin' cool. Cool as sheeeeit.

    And Shakes' was a dirty old git, as well, which is cool.
