Ha, had this email into my inbox this morning. All looks legit, valid Blizzard address, etc, but why do I need to reply back when the email says noreply, and why do they need my password??? Surely they know its 123456? And small punctuation errors... damn I am getting cynical. So watch out kids, the scammers are out there. Play safe.

I don't know; this sounds legit...
In the same way as the message I received the other day in which they informed me that I had won a million euros in an italian lottery...

Sadly, some people will reply to this. My nephew got done a few weeks ago with a CoD scam just like it. It was his PS3 account and it was hells own job to get Sony to change his password as the scammers changed it immediately!

He gets his brains from the 'other' side of the family!

Had one of the usual "This is Blizzard - u didz broken WOw, givz us password or bees banning!" the other day.

On a side note: Is it not Blizzard.NET, not .com. Stand corrected.

    It's Blizzard.com or Battle.net.

I got an email the other day telling me that my aion account had been hacked, and I risked loosing it unless I gave them my details. However considering I have never (nor intend to get) an aion account i was rather curious as to how :p

I get the same for WoW all the time. Usually something along the lines of 'We have detected that you are trying to sell your account! OMG you need to log into it RIGHT NOW and sort this!'

(Well, not in so many words, but you get the gist)

But yeah, never played WoW, never had an account. No clue how I'm selling it. When do I get paid?

I never believe e-mails from blizzard, I always log onto my account and check it without clicking any links. Sadly scammers are getting rather good at impersonating.

You guys really must have the worst luck, I'm not sure I've ever recieved a single spam email pretending to be Blizzard. In fact, I hardly ever recieve mail from the real Blizzard!

RuneScape on the otherhand... some Chinese account stealing site seems to really believe that I have an account and that said account is in grave danger.

Yeah, nice link they have there. Think they can make it anymore suspicious? Honestly though, they have been doing this for years and they still haven't learnt to copy and paste a blizzard email and change the links. So many mistakes in there I don't see how people could fall for it.
