Actually, I remember reading about that in an "Audio" magazine in '95 or '96... I can't imagine having the time, money or ambition to do something like that!
Yep samuelellis posted this middle of last year. I saw this setup a few years ago on the net it is very very efficent design 110 db @ 1 watt at one meter that is over six times as effeicent as standard speakers. You could play music and it would be as live as a powerful music concert. With that knid of efficency you could run very low power tube amplifers and have no need for solid state the output would be massive. Now back to what is available. For normal people (normal being slightly totally less totally insane or very rich) there are alternatives that will truely blow you socks off with bass. i love bass don't get me wrong hell if i had that mutch bass i would be deaf by now im already half deaf my ears would probly be bleeding 1 minute in to a song with a lot of bass
