SO, who in yr 10 will be doing their work experiance this year? I got my letter yesterday and will be finding my own place to work in.
I'm doing mine this year. I've basically wrote on the form that i'll work anywhere in IT, in a Uni or some large scale network would be good for experience
I do as little work as humanly possible. I mean...I turn up here...I just laze around and make the place look good *n
apparently some people do it in year 11 after the exams, so whilst everyone else is having an extra month or 2 off they have to go do work experience
Thats unfortunate. I did my work experience at a Chartered Surveyors. Basically I spent a few weeks pissing about in fields in a Land Rover interspersed with drinking lots of tea. *n
I did mine last year in yr 10! Did it in an all girl’s school they had a decent network I did a lot there and every lunch time they took me to the pub!
That was the best time in my life - felt like it would never end - But the bloody thing did and along came A-Levels. Currently taking a 52-week holiday - Gap year baby! Though I am doing working experience, hopefully at a small recording studio. Maybe remind me of the good-ole GCSE days.
Im doing my Year 12 work ex soon, no idea where or what but should be alright then im off to Tanzania for 3 weeks in the summer
I was cunning with mine, or stupid depending on how you look at it.. My girlfriend was in the school year above mine, and was in her GCSE "study leave" at the time. So I went to the business nearest her house. Shame it was a Focus DIY store thingy.
