    Congratulations :)

I remember mine, just managed to scrape a 2:1 honours and was flabberghasted that I did it. If only I can do that well in my PhD I'll be chuffed :D

Finished my degree yesterday (Artificial Intelligence and Robotics), hoping I scraped a 1st but more likely a 2.1.

Studentship+PhD for me now, what is this tax you speak of?

Nah, am still doing exams for mine (BSc, maths and computer science).

Have finished my maths exams (WIN), and now just comp sci exams left.

... and then my final year project viva on the 13th June.

So yeah, half a month left until I'm finished.

Haha ;) Well at the moment I'm paying for what I do full time. I'll be happier when I'm being paid for what I do full time. :hehe:

But it is a fair amount. 32% NI + basic rate income tax (well, tending towards 32%; obviously there's tax allowances), then 9% on student loans above £15k. I've got a job sorted for after Uni and have done the calculations; it's surprising how much will be taken out of those lovely pay-slips. Ah well; it's better than paying for Uni ;)

3 years left in mine... and i started 3 years ago!

But then again I am doing a double major in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering, AND I am coming out with a Masters in Aerospace Engineering.

    I am a perpetual student.

Prepare to get shafted even more then. I'm owed 18K from my university and I'm simply told "don't ask questions, this is just how it is".

PhD's are great if you have the financial support, which I thankfully had for the research (100K), but the stipend sounded great on paper, in reality I was had.

Almost 4 years of beuarocracy and red-tape that I cannot question. Huzzah. Can't wait to see the end of this. Best of luck though :D:p

Although I finished my BA last year, I couldn't attend graduation because of personal circumstances. Cambridge's stance is simple: no degree unless you go through the graduation ceremony. Luckily they allow you to graduate later so I simply delayed mine till this year.

So bizarrely, technically speaking I finish my degree this year even though I've been in full time employment since last year. (And BRAWL +1)

Last exam of first year (I'm 26 though) today and then got rather drunk and fell asleep... Hungover at 10pm is weird.

    Congrats folks.

Well done to everyone who has finished!

My exams finish in two weeks, then after another tense two weeks I will get my results.

Can't you graduate in absentia? Though personally I'd wait to graduate in person like you have done.

I have my 3 and I congratulate ANYONE with enough stones to graduate. I know the missed meals and the long hours of studies and the nervous tensions of "The Test" whether written or oral.
