Thinking about it there do seem to be a lot around here (Nottm) lately as well.

Must be the weather or something?

the world is being taken over by bugs! We don’t have a green fly problem here in the Midwest (USA). we get the Japanese beetle problem (like little ladybugs with different colors) they get EVERYWHERE, and when you kill one, more come! They work the same way wasps do (Step on it, releases a pheromone, more come)

Global warming, get used to it. A mild winter has left plenty of girly aphids around, and they don't even need a bloke aphid to have lots of babies. :grr:

I'm being over run by spiders myself. Usually those little annoying *******s that move like stink and jump everywhere, as well as a few other garden variety. I'm usually killing half a dozen or so every day.

    I hate spiders. :grr:

Why I like cold winters. The cold kills EVERYTHING.

wow ive never heard of them before, just googled em, never hear of anything like that before, precisly every 17 years they come out in swarms....cool, well not if you live round there, I hate bugs around me.... but still life is an amazing thing, especially when you eat root nodules for 16.7 years as a maggoty thingy, then come up to become an adult for 3 months, have sex...reproduce...die.....

    Sounds familiar...

Any day that's mildly warm I get a mouthful of flies, and flies in my hair when I'm cycling to/from Uni through anywhere that has lots of trees. Grrr, I hate those little flies :grr:

Why don't you all wear those gotcha / motorbike masks ? Looks cool on a cyclist and you don't get your eyes & mouth full of those stupid insects ... I sure like my helmet, hehe, don't get any bugs in there while riding ;-) And no bugs in my appartment either ... I have one of those UV / high voltage bug killing lamps ... pretty ... zzzzzaaaaaap ! and the bugger's gone, even works with things as big as wasp-queens ... hehe suckers

    Cheers

    Fred
