So I'm being coerced into this one.

Wife is a huge Twilight fan, wife has great PC. Wife wants to know why I've never made her a custom case.

    "Didn't know you wanted one."

"Just not something as um, loud as what you build."

    Gee, thanks love.

So this is a Lian-Li PC7 stuffed with a nice server-spec system and she's decided we'll engrave the outside.

Black anodize vs silver highlights works real well.

Anyway, let's put it together first.

That done, we'll start by getting ready to line the panels.

That'll happen today after I pay bills. Need bills paid to work.

That's some pretty nice hardware. What does your wife play? I can't get mine to play anything but Peggle. Everything else gives her motion sickness...

    Her stuff is:

    Q6600
    Intel BadAxeII
    8GB DDR2-800
    2xHD3850
    Samsung DVD burner
    WD GreenPower 500GB drive

And really, it's for the Sims. Sims3 is pretty rough on stuff.

I thought they caught the unibomber!:hehe:
Sorry, dude. Everyone else was pickin' on you. The instincs I learned in high school kicked in.

But seriously... I don't have that much processing power in all my rigs combined.:(

Two video cards to play the Sims? :jawdrop: That's why I don't game. Initial cost of game is OK until you have to provide the hardware. Nice rig. I hope she approves.

I've got to concur. That's like sending the US Army after a small middle eastern country - overkill....

Moving along, that's a very nice clean setup you've got there. What HSF is that? It's huge! Bigger than my 120

The hardware kinda give me an impression of the:

"damn this CPU is getting old...." "oi wife, want a quad core?"
    "What's it? I don't think I really need...."
"If you don't have four cores, you make kittens cry"
"Oh that's terrible! give me one!"

;) Nice parts, should be good, even if Twilight isn't my cup of tea.

    Nice Start

Keeping the wife happy, what a novel concept to keep the divorce lawyers at bay.
Be interesting to see her influence on the ingraving.
