We're converting an office into a conference room at work. There is a single RJ45 network point in the room and we've made do with an old 100/10 4 port hub, but the nest of wires is bloody awful. I've suggested to the boss that we stick a new hub in there that has wifi capability, so people can sit in there with their laptops and get on the network - he says great, do it tomorrow. So, at short notice, I'm going to be limited to nipping down to Staples or Maplin with the company purchase card. I'm only looking for a hub that can support 5 to 8 laptops at once, can anyone suggest what models to consider? I'll have another look when I get home and throw up some options for feedback.
