Herrow I'm looking at this case http://www.ebuyer.com/product/160913 and I was thinking of putting a MSI GTX 560 ti twin frozr II in it, however I'm alittle worried it might not fit as graphics cards thease days seem to be half a mile long. Any help is much appreciated. Ta very much ****edit after looking around I found another case, below is a build based on the Hardware buyers guide for march. 1 x Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor 251596 £137.29 £137.29 1 x MSI GTX 560 TWIN FROZR II 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI Out PCI-E Graphics Card 255699 £167.12 £167.12 1 x Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2 Socket 775, 1156, 1155, 1366, AM2, AM3 Heatpipe CPU Cooler 176157 £12.17 £12.17 1 x Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cache 173804 £34.99 £34.99 1 x LiteOn IHAS124-19 24x DVD±RW DL & RAM SATA Optical Drive - OEM Black with Nero Essentials 176026 £13.31 £13.31 1 x Philips Brilliance C-line 226C2SB LCD TFT 21.5" Full HD Monitor 243026 £91.65 £91.65 1 x Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz HyperX Memory Kit 1.65V CL9 169240 £30.83 £30.83 1 x Asus P8P67-M PRO R3 P67 Socket 1155 8 Channel Audio mATX Motherboard 261052 £95.82 £95.82 1 x Cosonic CD-723MV Multimedia Headset with Microphone - 2 Metre Cable 3.5mm Jack 125119 £3.32 £3.32 1 x Xenta Red Cloth Mouse Mat with Rubber Base - 220 x 180 mm 227434 £0.82 £0.82 1 x Sumvision Black Optical Scroll Mouse - USB/PS2 124780 £3.23 £3.23 1 x Black/Silver Multimedia Keyboard - USB/PS2 - UK Layout 125782 £3.79 £3.79 1 x Tenda Wireless-G PCI Adapter 132449 £5.40 £5.40 1 x Coolermaster Elite 430 All Black Case With Elite 500W PSU 235611 £48.49 £48.49 a total of £777.94 I am on a budget so I am looking to keep the price as low as possible Let me know what you think.
The gtx 560 is 240mm long or 24cm and about 9.44inches. The Coolermaster Elite 430 can hold a gpu up to the length of: 12 inches + .... "Press control F" and type in length and you will see the sentence about the length! for a small case, an amazing length. Also, MSI make good quality products so well picked!
It'll go in as it's a full ATX case. That said I would get a case with decent cooling and shell out a bit of cash on it.
Also when buying a case, make sure if your buying a case/psu combo, make sure the power supply is good enough as sometimes they give you cheap, tacky ones that will probably **** up your system!
Good point indeed, I looked over that case again, the PSU is not certed in any way its got 70% efficiency and I've seen many posts on here about cheap PSU's blowing up destorying hardware in the process. I used this site http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp to calculate what PSU I would need, is this a reliable source? So I'll shop around some more for now and tweek the order, if any one knows of some awesome case/PSU bundles or some good cases and PSU's to look at please let me know. Again I am on a budget and I won't go over the £800 mark.
