Pitty he never had a car that could last race distance. Or travel more than 18m down the pitlane on one memorable occasion!

 

I saw the Top Gear program where they tested the Toyota Truck...

They Drove it down a long flight of concrete stairs, sideswiped it against a wall, drove it into a tree, submerged it in seawater for four hours, (After that it was on its side, half buried in sand - they had to dig it out). Then they dropped it from a crane, drove it through through both walls of a wooden shack, dropped a cravan on it, (from a crane), and hit it with a wrecking ball afew times.

And after all that, it still drove at 30mph!

So they set it on fire.....

And failed to stop it working.

Think thats about it.....

& yes it did still fire up & drive

 

does anyone have a vid of this or anything? or am i gonna have to watch every ep of top gear to find out if its the right one?!

 

my dad has a 1983 Nissan pickup... all original. he chose a great color for it, banana yellow... but now with the rust spots make it polka dot, kinda like an old banana. i just thought of that, wow, i'm funny.

anyhoo, the point i'm trying to make, those cars are friggin' indestructible! i have a theory that a silver bullet couldn't put this sucker down.

thats the car i have to look forward to... yay... i'm gonna have fun with it though, black electrical tape racing stripes... maybe just make it totally black, i could peel it off like 007 and escape the bad guys!
