Ok, I'm setting up a Celeron/400 with 64 megs of RAM, 2 gig of HDD space and onboard everything as a server. (Only thing I'm putting in the case is the mobo, a PSU and the hard drives :D ) I'm gonna run Win2k Pro on it, set it up with ICS on my Voyager ADSL modem, and also use it for http.

Will this work? Would I be better off with 2k Server?

    :D

Thing is I'm using it to share the connection between XP boxes, will there be any problems with XP machines sharing the connection on the 2k box?

I think you will be better of using it as a smoothwall box. www.smoothwall.org or the latest ipcop beta that support internal pci adsl cards and external usb adsl modems.

Not at all, the XP/2k networking is virtually identical and works together brilliantly :)

RTT is correct, I've tried using the ICS on everything from 98SE to XP, and it's always worked. Doesn't work quite as well as a hardware router (obviously), but if you're on a budget it's all good.
