I am trying to share my broadband from my win98 machine to my xbox for some online gaming action!

As instructed I have added a second NIC, set it up with the standard ip of 192.168.0.1 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 for my xbox to use.

When I enable the ICS on the sharing computer, I cannot get any connection on it! As soon as I switch ICS off, the connection comes back?

I have never had to use ICS before, I have heard that it is poo? It may be something simple, but I wanna be playin Halo online by tonight

    Cheers for any help

Does your firewall allow unrestricted net access for the Xbox?

It might be blocking a service it needs to connect to the game?
