Windows win me

    i just restored win me and everytime i click on internet explorer it gives me this msn sign up crap, how do i get rid of it? thx

    It's one of the "isignup" files. I can't remember where they are in WinME, but do a search and delete to recycle bin one at a time (there's more than the one isignup file and I think one of them is needed) and you should find it'll stop bugging you.

    Personally my solution would be to put on a better OS like Linux, or just about anything for that matter :D

    Install Windows 3.1, its probably better than ME.

    Seriously, why bother bolting the stables after the horse has escaped?

    My solution: pickup a cheap copy of WIn 98, back up their shiznit, and then wipe ME.

    And I know its not your pc, but still.... ;)
