Not sure if anyone else has spotted this, but if you subscribe/are subsribed to MS Tech Net, you can try out a little security quiz/game for the chance to get a full copy (though they don't mention which edition!) of Windows 7 on DVD. UK residents only. Here's the link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/dd673591.aspx Competition closing date is 29/5/2009 Good luck P.S. Zoom, then zoom some more!!
I did this earlier, the zooming feature thing is really quite cool, it took me a while to do because I underestimated the amount of zooming that was possible.
Finally, a competition that is UK residents only rather than US only. Take that Yanks! Thanks for the heads up guys, that was quite fun. I could do with a free copy of 7 too.
it was easy to find them all, but then it said my cookies were disabled and wouldn't let me continue. my cookies were enabled -_-
Sorry, I can't try and replicate that as I don't have a Mac and don't use Safari! Maybe some other Mac knowledgable peep may be able to help with this one!!
Glad I could spread a bit of fun We'll have to wait until 22/6/2009 to find out who won. Good luck all!!
Won't work for me on Mac + Safari either, it's down to it using Silverlight V2, for me that's an issue as while Silverlight is Mac compatible, only V1 works with PPC based macs, V2 is intel only.
The way I figure it, they realise people use Macs, give PPC users (Who cannot run windows) a broken version. Give Intel users (who can run windows) a working version... then run a comp where you can win Windows where only people who can run it can enter... then provide copies to mac users to get them to switch. It's all a conspiracy.. Like 8 year olds stitching photos.... c'mon who the f*** does that...
