    We talking the Remote control software?

    Not sure about Girder, but I've found IRAssistant to be easier to configure.

    If not, then: :blush:

    Miriam comes complete with controls for loads of programs, including winamp, power dvd, bsplayer, wmp, etc etc.

    starting to learn this stuff now... but i just ran into another problem... if i want girder to write something... then press enter (using it for mirc)... how do i get the enter key?

    another tihing: if i want it to change my MSN staus.. i can just hold in alt and press f-m-a (file-my status-away) but how do i get girder to hold in the alt key all the time? (if it presses alt for each time it will go mad.. :sigh: )

    anyone?

    To use alt menus, the alt key only needs to be pressed once.

    ie:
    Alt -> F -> M -> A

    :)

    ok... i figured out that too last night...

    i get it to open the file menu... but it won't go any further.. no matter what...

    what i have done is making an command that presses the alt key and writes the sentence "fma" when a button is pressed..

    i have also tried each letter in each command (same input)... still won't work... anything else i can try?

    also.. haven't got any further on the enter thing... :sigh:

    Maybe it's going too fast.

    Tried putting a pause between the key strokes?

    Try that, putting a half second pause between each keystroke to do your MSN:
    Alt -> Pause -> F -> Pause -> M -> Pause -> A

    Let us know if you have any luck. :)

    wohoo! thanks for the help!

    i figured out that i didn't need the pauses.. i just had to tick off the "alternative proc.".... i have no idea on what it means but.. ohwell.. :blush: :D

    the only thing that is wrong now is that i have to make girder restore MSN before it can change my status...
