I've had this issue before, and the only way I've found is to reformat tbh. :(

yup only in winamp. time to look for viable alternatives which can handle my library :(
no i am using my motherboards standard onboard jazz which made me buy the mobo in the first place so i dont have to resort to using my firewire interface. could it be a latency issue?

    is foobar any good?

Ok, i might have fixed it, i played about with the settings on the actual card and its cut it down, however it seems only affected when firefox's bloat impinges on it, as at the moment minefield/shiretoko/firefox 3.1 beta 2 loves to memory leak.

why do they mess up decent beta's of firefox with utter crap? shiretoko was excellent, fast, didnt require 4gb+ ram. how stupid is that :/
