News Windows 10 patch brings multi-monitor woes

    I doubt it as by the time it reaches the LTSB the beta testers would've done their job.

    Well, a family members laptop decided to update (the big updates that typically take ages and result in a whole new build of Windows 10) last night.

    Laptop now totally screwed. Spends about an hour installing the new update, reboots, fails to boot. Recovers itself, boots 'old' Windows 10, tells me there's an update, reboots, installs... fails to boot.

    Rinse 'n' repeat, ad infinitum.

    edit: Interesting. It's build 1607 trying to install. WTF?
