Earlier on in the week Windows XP went wrong on me and I put ti dow to my copy being slightly dodg, so I unraided my hdd's andwent back to 98 SE, and now I remeber what aload of rubbish Windows 98 SE is because it won't let me run my hard drives in RAID. However before I go and raid them back together again I need to know if Windows 2000 will allow me to read a FAT32 drive if I set my drives up which I'm putting in RAID as NTFS, was going to dual boot butI really don't want 98 on my system, it's such a pain up the backside when it gobbles all your memory.
Yes it should be no problems i have a NTFS HDD with my main OS on it (2k) and my other hdds are fat32 it reads them fine BUT i dont know about raid as i have had no experience with it but i assume it would be fine' Heath
Thanks thats all I wanted to know, will be doing that this afternoon, can't stad Windows 98 any longer.
What's wrong with 98????? It's best OS ever made. (Yea and I can jump over the Empire State building.) 98 isnt really all that bad. It's running on my lil bro's comp and we've had no problems out of it at all. And yes Win2K will read FAT32 drives. Doin it right now.
Windows 98 throws up, or at least did throw up an error when I so much as loaded word, grrr then I just got fed uup with how unstable it was so stuck 2K on, working just fine but thik I'll try XP again.
