Windows Windows 7 Home Premium Early Delivery??

    Just recieved my copy of Windows 7 Home Premium from PC World (nice chaps:wallbash:).

    Though I received an email stating it would not be delivered before the 22nd (official release date).

    Now, would it be wise to install now, or wait to the official release??

    nice get it installed only thing is you may not be able to activate it until the 22nd i guess.

    still waiting for mine but hopefully get it this week.

    Though I had forgot my email and forum passwords lol

    Copy arrived today from pc-world and had an email as well to say it would be arriving at my address from the 22nd onwards.

    oo good thinking.

    i hope mine comes this week, got it from play.com so probly wont get it for about a month cause of STUPID royal mail complaining about pay AGAIN

    Yeah this is what I am thinking, have emailed PC World regarding this issue (though too late as I have installed it), but no recieved a reply as yet.

    I've had my Win 7 Pro for about 2 weeks, and didnt' have to pay a penny (god I love MSDNAA). Not installed it on my main rig yet as I'm still using Vista so I can get my moneys worth.

    Same here. It shows "stock warning".

    I've placed a Thursday delivery and you'd have thought they would already have stock to allocate and honour the launch date for delivery. :eyebrow:

    Got two ordered - one from PCWORLD got the same emails as the rest of you and they took my ££ .. but no parcel :(

    Other one from Staples took my ££ when the order was placed but no despatch email yet :(
