Windows windows 7 which 1 to go for?

    Imagine the video editing you could accomplish with 192GBs of RAM as well as a couple of SSDs (one acting as the editors scratch disk, the other system disk):jawdrop:

    Owning both home premium and professional (cheap pre order and then software4students) the only useful thing on pro I found was remote desktop, and that's mostly a novelty in the home environment.

    If your using it for everyday work, and occasional games then I would say go for home premium. But if your wanting to have more than 16gb ram then go for the professional.

    No one has actually said this so just in the rare case that you don't know.

    You need 64-Bit not 32-Bit.

    For me it depends I use a server at home and don't like fooling with backups so my vote would be for PRO if you have a home server and don't already use a 3rd party back up system. Pro you can back up to a remote location, Home is a no go with that unless you have 3rd party software.
