Seems like they just break or change more and more stuff pointlessly with each update. If it works, don't fix it :/
Still using WLM 8.5.8132 here, reshacked to ignore forced updates. Everything newer than that has been horrible to me and introduced nothing worth the hassles of upgrading from the old version.
How do you go about downloading a older verion? Specifically the one JUST before this last ****ing update?:L
http://www.oldversion.com/ Invaluable site. Be sure to uninstall the newer version before trying to install the old one. If you get some crap where it insists that you update, google for how to reshack MSN's version number.
Nice site, but it only seems to have msn, not some of the newer but completely ****ed versions of windows live messenger, know where i can get that?
Quite possbility oldapps might have it -> http://www.oldapps.com/msn_messenger.php. The last version they have is from 10 months ago. Microsoft changed the way you get WLM now, rather then before where you'd download the set up for it. You download the Windows live set up, which then downloads the setups for the components you want to install. Each update to WLM, seems to make it more and more unstable for me, and 90% of the features I don't use.
