I'm thinking about loading this on my shuttle media pc when I get this up... The Media PC will send the TV it records to a file server where it writes the file. I'll need it to also stream video from the file server for watching on the media pc. Will windows media center handle this or should i just go xp pro?
What tv card do you have? Because both www.gottvpvr.com and www.gbpvr.com are good free products that might do what you want. But gbpvr only works with hardware based encoders come to think of it MCE only seems to work with a limited amount of cards that have BDA drivers.
