Is there a way for me to set up my own proxy on my server at home? So the computer at my house is getting the pages then sending it the the computer I'm using at school. Basically a standard web proxy but password protected on my own computer.

    Thanks!

Thats cool but I was looking for something that would only allow me into my web server and to use the proxy.

I do something very similar for secure browsing when at open wifi spots. Using an OpenSSH tunnel to my home server which runs a proxy server called Privoxy. It was pretty easy to set up and Privoxy seems pretty cool although i'm only using its most basic features.

Privoxy alone may let you password protect if you look into it (i dont know myself). But the OpenSSH link gives you an encrypted password protected link to your home PC through which to use the proxy server.

Google them and see what you think

Good to hear you got something working, but if you actually looked at Psiphon you'd see it has user accounts :p
