when i install a fresh copy of windows i shall partition 20gb for it, when i get into windows i have a windows home copy with sp2 built into it, does this mean it will install usb drivers from that etc, i heard with the nf4 boards usb drivers from the mother board cd should be done after etc, is this correct?

NTFS is what you need, FAT is old and is not reccomended for use, no advantages of FAT over NTFS I don't think.

I would install it just to prevent windows having a hissy fit, try and just install the drivers not the control program though.

No offense but with that current set up you've got there is really nice, but you didn't even know to use FAT or NTFS?

ntfs is better if you use only win xp... however fat is better if you're going to use older windows versions or linux as another OS

    ok cheers and,

    now its askin me....

    Nvidia firewall with anti-hacking features

    * disable windows firewall on the nforce ethernet but allow the windows firewall to remain active on other interfaces (they recomend this option)

    or

both windows firewall and nvidia firewall with only nvidia anti hacking features

    * enable both windows firewall and the nvidia firewall but only use the nvidia anti hack feature

    or

    windows firewall

disable the nvidia firewall on the nforce ethernet interface, which will then be protected by the windows fire wall

which one do i want im not to sure :(

The nVidia Network Access Manager causes all sorts of problems and the Windows firewall is pretty naff. Pick up a copy of SPF for free and use that instead.
