Wow, thanks Rodeye.



Thanks to Cheapskate (that known it all...). I did some re-shaping for those blades.

Now, look is final, and hopefully enough "painfull" too. Purpose for those blades is to hold a piece of plexyclass, and my intention is to make some flag/wing shapes/look for it.



Now i can start making front panel, and thingys witch are connected to those. I also started to make some shaping for mb-tray, but i'll show it when its done.

First, i just have to do something for practice, because my skills with plastics aint so good at all.

I see some neat filework on the I/O plate.
I'm not sure what you have planned for the front, but I'm watching.

 

Yeah, i'm sure that no one has any clue for that.

I'm going to use some layers of plexyclass witch starts in the front and goes inside the case.
I will leave some room between those layers, witch are going to be connected with some metallic parts in the front.

My intention is to use this: http://metku.net/index.html?path=mods/multilayer-animation/index_eng .method to make some "waves" like a wing or a flag.

I don't know how to explanate it. So again, i will show it when i have something to show.

 

Those blades looks like some gear from a hitman. You could kill someone with it.

All the joy for building anything, especially this case, died in car accident some days ago. So i just smashed this project for little pieces, and dumped in trashcan. So this project is dead, and is not going to continue.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you find the strength continue modding in the future. Part of the purpose of a hobby is distraction. It keeps your mind off problems and keeps you from falling into things like alcoholism. I lost a very good friend several years ago and keeping myself occupied is the reason -I'm- still alive.
Stay alive, and focus on only the good memories.

You lot are mourning the loss of a case??....You should be rejoicing the fact that the modder didnt die in the accident.... better the case destroyed than to lose such a fine modder!!!....

 

First off all: My condolances for your loss

What Cheapskate said is the one and only thruth, please sethnmalice read the thread once more, it's not the case that was destroyed in a car crash but a person very close to him, and he them channeled his anger on the first thing which he got his hands on, as would I, in such a case.

Off course not! I was talking about the person(s) in the accident. I fear that someone very close to La carotte d l'o died in the accident.
As fine a case as it was, I very well understand why he smashed it, I probably would to. After all, it's only a case.. and when facing such grief, a case is insignificant... especially if it reminds you of your loss every time you see it.
