As I'm sure some of you may have been made aware of (when it broke), when Service Pack 2 for Windows XP was released, a number of security changes were made to the RPC system which broke Fax Sharing in Winfax Pro. Symantec have an Update (version 10.04 of Winfax) which "fixes" the problem, and there are a few other workarounds (the workarounds I've tried, but to no avail). Symantec offers a 10.03 -> 10.04 update through their support site, but I only have version 10.02... the page which details the installation instructions for 10.04 from symantecs support system states that it can only be applied to version 10.03, and that an update for version 10.02 must be acquired first. You'll also notice that the page asks you to contact customer support to acquire this update. Now, I don't fancy like shelling out £18 on a support call to grab an update to a product that I've already paid for, so I'm hoping somebody here either has the update itself, or *cough* a full installation of 10.03 that they wouldn't mind sending me. I can provide all of the relevant ordering information if anybody is worried that I don't actual own licences for the software, I'm purely attempting to avoid this arsehead support charge
