    Wow..

You're really not too constructive, are you? All you do is rip on the game with the types of phrases you'd expect to hear in an entertainment segment on a television show.

Seriously though.. I have the prologue and it's not that bad. For what it's worth, I agree with some of the points you've made. But attacking the story when, by your own admission, you failed to follow it..? I don't see the logic there.

The story actually does pretty well, from what I've played. And yes, the gameplay is very slow paced, and I too see this as a flaw.. However it's not really fair to attack a game for being too slow when the whole point of the plot is to be soothing and emotional.

In any case, you do raise some good points and this game definitely isn't as good as it could have been.. It's just frustrating to see people fail to look at the whole product when criticising it as these types of reviews are the ones which give indie gaming a bad name.

This review is extremely constructive. The game was terrible, if you played it and didn't think so props to you. I searched for this review to see if the game changed later on. I spent 1-2 hours trying to Get Some Air as well, so every criticism is constructive. The idea is make quests that ping where you have to go, or distinctly tell you where to go. Instead of go talk to everyone you see the Goal should be: Look for X in Wood Cutter place.

That said the story so far has been so linear and dull, and the story is lost in the terribly slow interface and movement. Even the animation so far has been extremely boring, I've played rogue-like games with better attack animations. I play a lot of text based games as well that have a general great story, this doesn't have a fantastic story so far. The slow game play makes players spam the click button.

As for the part about giving indie games a bad name, you are overlooking the fact that the reviewer is reviewing one terrible game. The game itself gives indie games a bad name. It is incomplete, the translation from French to English is terrible. They could have hired a high school French class to do a better job. So what gives indie games a bad name as incomplete, unpolished, and generally bad games are the games themselves not the reviewers who give them the time of day.
