It's an achievement I'll give them that. A stupid and illegal achievement. I didn't read it all, but can't he be jailed, because he's got the video and GPS logs of himself breaking the law?

If you want to break records do it on the track. You and your vehicle against the clock and nothing else (well except the armco).

 

I'm not sure if I have an opinion either way on this.
On the one hand it's pretty stupid and he could've gotten someone killed, on the other it's quite an achievement.

 

That statue of limitations for pressing charges against him have expired, which is why he published this now instead of right after he finished it.

While stupid it's still pretty cool, though having a plane fly above them to spot cops seems to be a bit excessive.
