so simply put I want to take a wired USB device like a Keyboard (I know they make wireless ones but I want to do this) or something like that I know this can be done it is just about the radio transmitter needed Bluetooth will also work fine so again simply put I want to make a wired USB device Wireless - I will supply power via batteries I am just looking for where to look fot the things needed
That is going to be so difficult and expensive that I recommend just simply buying a wireless one... And also the question about supplying power... How about batteries? No, because there is no way to get 5V from ordinary batteries
like I said not a problem it can even cost me $100 USD I dont care - and power not a problem I know how to get any amount of power from batteries so long as it is lower than the amount of power you have, like 2-3volt lion batteries is 6volts I can lower that to 5volts easily - you must not know a lot about powering things
Is this something you really want to build yourself? You said $100 isn't a big deal, what about ~$200? There is a wireless USB standard and there are products showing up on the market now (a quick google search). If you still want to do this as a DIY thing, I can offer help with the USB part, but I don't know anything about the possible radio development kits out there.
