Is it possible to have 1 wireless keyboard control 2 PCs at the same time?

Say i type on the keyboard and the things I type come out as tect on both PCs.

If this is possible, how would I go about setting it up?

I would buy 2 wireless keyboards, and set up the 2 recievers, but is there a way to set them to the same frequency? I have never owned a wireless keyboard so im not sure if this is possible or not.

Are you looking to just control 2 pcs via one keyboard? If so then KVM or Snergy software is the way to go.

If you looking to mirror the commands on both machines, then I'm not too sure how you would go about doing that.

well, I have been looking into KVM switches and considering them.

I would prefer a method that would mirror what my keystrokes are. I have thought about getting a G15 wireless and then ordering another reciever with same serial number, but I'm not sure if that will work out or not.

If you set the recievers to the same frequency, it wouldn't send the same thing to each one, but it would confuse itself and skip between the two, unable to lock on to either reciever. That, or it would not work at all. :)

first of all: why do you want to mirror the commands on both machines?
secondly: you could easily do it with serial, just and add a bit of electronics to duplicate the signal on two serial/usb connections

As far as I know, you can't use a wireless keyboard with a KVM. Although, despite me owning several KVM's over the years, I have yet to try it, but I can say with a fair amount of certaintly that it won't work.

You are correct, All G15s are corded. However, they have wireless recievers in them, for connecting to Logitech mice.

LCD + backlight would eat up batteries fairly quickly. :)

Are you sure? I've never read of that in any reviews or on Logitech's page.

ahh yes, sorry I worded that wrong. I was looking into getting a G15, but if this is possible I would rather get a wireless keyboard.

I have never looked into any types of splitters or anything of that sort. Anyone have a link to where I can read up on them etc?
