   A friend of mine is looking for a wireless modem/router. I know nothing of wireless, so I thought I'd ask you guys to recommend decent ones. Budget about £70.

   The Netgear DG834G is what I currently use. No problems so far...
   
   With a £70 budget you could probably get the 108Mbps version for that extra speed.
