   Okay, I wanna get a wireless network set up between two PC's, only about 20-30 metres accross a road, any advice on how to go about this? Oh, and we don't have much of a budget

   If you're on a budget and you want Wireless networking, by far the best thing you can use is Avian Carrier Technology. It's quite complicated, I suggest you read RFC 1149
