No doubt this is a repeat of a thread but still: My dads bee nhassling me about getting wireless and I have no idea how to get the stuff I need or how to install it all. Heres the deal, were hoping to get all the equipment and set the wireless net connection up in the house. My ideal would be (saving money) connecting it to the one machine and using that to put the net connection around the house. We were also thinking about sharing it to our nieghbours aswell, but first we of course need to get it installed, can anyone give me a link to a detialed artical of how to get wireless access on to a LAN and also what equipment I need.
I've installed a few wireless networks for friends What type of connection are you on, cable or adsl as it would make a differnece in what you need to buy.
