I know there are diagrams everywhere on the net and even this site but I never wired a OLED display before. the only pin function that I don't understand is Pin three VBT Operating Voltage for LCD Brightness ADJ. On most lcd display you'll need pin 3 wired or you may not see anything at all as it is used for contrast. Having looked at the tech doc it probably does control how bright the display is so you'd connect the output from a pot to it.
