    Alright guys?
    Im plaiing to wire some Blue leds in parallel on the 12v line, now i have some 12v resistors to use, but i am unsure as to where they should / can be placed.Should i place an led at the base of each led, or should i place the resistor along the 12v line before it reaches any leds?
    The diagram below may help:

    So can/should i put the 12v resistor in position R| or R|| ?

    Position R|| is correct for those resistors.

    Depends on your PSU and LED. The average LED draws, say, 20mA which is 0.02 of an amp. A decent PSU can sustain about 28A on the +12V line so 28/0.02 = about 1400 LEDs

    Thing is, you also have to take out all the power your Motherboard and other components take from that, you should also include some over head as well, to make sure you don't over draw from the power supply.

    I'd put 3s in series and use 4,200. :p

    OstickO, you can save on resistors by using 3 blue leds in series on the 12V line, with a 100R resistor to each string.
