1998 dodge dakota all cars ive driven/owned previously the lights go on and turn off automatically when you turn on the ignition (or off), and id like to do a similar thing to my truck. the stereo will continue to play for about 15 seconds after you remove the key from the ignition, and i wouldn't mind doing that even (as the stereo is closer than the fuse box/more conveniant). im just not sure how to go about doing it. anyone know what to do? i can take pics of anything if needed.
Well im no expert but i would have thought it would be easyest to just swap the lights circuit over at the fuse box from a fuse thats live all the time to one thats switched by the ignition? ofcourse in practice it may not be that simple slater..
