Since I installed Vista (happens on ultimate and home premium & 2 differnt routers) My router restarts itself when I download stuff. So its proving very hard to get my sound card drivers Also when I shutdown or reboot the pc the router restarts too. WTF is going on and how do you stop it?

what kind of router is it? I would have to assume its a USB modem? if so, why are you still using that kind of kit!!
