looks pretty cool although it would be hard to see it properly in a case unless someone built one to create a feature out of it.
Looks swell to me! And i was worrying about my Zalman 7000Cu being too heavy Should look good in a desktop casing.
I THINK it would go well in my case but i would not buy it its just mad lol!! rather get a slk900U dose any one know if that would fit in my case i mean the slk900u not the dam Ht thing. Thank you
These are some awesome coolers! Both the DP-102 and HT-101 look great! These are some of the coolest heatsinks I've seen.
Sorry I'm newb Is it bad to have your heatsink weight to much? Sorry for the newbish post, but I'm new here.
if the heatsink weighs too much, gravity pulls it down funny when you have your motherboard sideways (as per a tower case). this can crush your cpu. the way around that though is to order a CPU shim. they're $5 US and make sense when you think about it. you can be careful with heatsink installation, or you can save pocket change, spend $5 once, and never worry about a crushed processor. *edit* weighs, not ways
Welcome to the forums!! All Intel and AMD cpu's have manufacturers specs as to how much a heatsink may weigh. Ignore it and something *may* happen to your CPU. Anyway the only cooler that is out of spec is the Zalman 7000Cu (are there more?) btw like your system specs!
