I finished it late last night/this morning, on the hardest difficulty.

The following isn't really a spoiler, but just in case I've tagged it that way for the concerned!

Probably about seven hours? Not looked for all the collectibles, though. Particularly enjoyed the "nightmare" where you play Wolf3D, that tickled me (I literally had the dumbest grin on my face the entire time).

Generally surprised by this games performance, too. My 6870's didn't choke when playing, and I had it on High, it didn't absorb RAM like a beast seemed to stay around 2.5gb. Very impressed with the Tech5 engine.

    GOD F**KING DAMMIT!

So, I got all settled in, ready to blast some goose-stepping fools. I start the game with everything turned up to 11.

It's a slide show. Quite literally. As in one frame every five seconds or so. I take a quick look at Afterburner and find the game is not only maxing out the VRAM, it also using 12GB of RAM!!! That's system total by the way.

Turns out the game is, of all things, VRAM constrained. It's actually pretty clever. Anyhoo, I figured out that allowing compressed textures would probably help, seeing as I should have enough grunt to deal with them - which works! VRAM use is around 1.6GB now and RAM usage is around 5.5GB.

But on to the next problem. It turns out there's no SLI support, even in the latest beta drivers which are supposed to have them. Although framerates are better, on a single card at 4K the game is still unplayable (must be ~10-15FPS) and texture pop in is evident. Still, the game looks awesome.

I'm going to have to sit this one out for now. A shame as it looks as if it is exactly what I need at the moment - a fun, shooty game. Oh well, I have quite a few other games that need my attention.

I'm really enjoying it but it doesn't support SLI in case anyone is wondering. That being said it still runs OK on 1 GTX 780.

Really enjoying it. Much better single player experience to what I've got used to with BF and COD games for the last few years. Think the only other single player game I've really enjoyed recently was Metro.

Running on a hd7950 at 1440p, I've set the graphics to the high preset, and it still looks really good. Been a few graphics glitches so far, and had to quit and reload once when everything that wasn't part of the character went black (or a door, doors were still OK if you were pointed straight at them). When the game started again, it played normally.

Had gone up to £26 on cd keys when I got it. Still got a Doom beta key though.

Odd the 350.76 drivers can't be found manually on the Nvidia site?? I'm a couple hours in maxed out on the Titan at 1440p, plays smooth enough, would like the console command to show FPS.

    Ha! Life is funny!

This game runs like a dream on my new laptop. Maximum possible settings at 1080p and I'm getting 30FPS+ in the opening sequence! VRAM use is at ~2800MB though.

I'll have a dedicated play through at the weekend methinks!

Not bad for a laptop but I couldn't play a FPS at anything under 60. I'd rather drop the settings down.

Well it's getting shelved until theres a patch as far as i'm concerned. It runs like a bag of spanners on an R9 270 with an I5 4440 and 8gb ram @1080P. The juddering frame rate makes me feel sea sick. I'm on the latest drivers etc too.

Have to say I'm really enjoying this game.

Pleasant surprise that it isn't as short as some well know other titles!
