    '04 Saab 9-3 Vector 2.0 Turbo, 175Bhp. 0-60 in 8.5s :baby:

We test drove one on Saturday, and it's the Mutts Nuts. Our old Saab convertable wallows around when you hit a pothole. With this thing you would swear your in a normal car. No scuttle shake at all. Amazing! And the toys you get on it are fab - spit climate, fully automatic hood (no more 'docking latch' handles ;)) rain sensitive wipers, auto dimming rearview mirror, electric memory seats - the list goes on.

Ours will be in the same colour (Expresso black metallic) with the dark grey leather interior. We'll have 5 spoke alloys though, as the ones in the piccy only come on the top spec Aero (damn - I really like those rims).

Delivery some time in September. Can't wait!!

    Jeebus...

I've always wanted an old Saab turbo engine and drivetrain to play around with - It'd make an interesting Locost type car.

I don't think I have too much money - I'd like more TBH (wouldn't everyone?). Anyway, I've to work for it all, I don't get it for nowt.

Besides you can't take it with you when you go. :D

    Verrrry nice GOO :eeek:

Saabs have come a long way looks-wise, they used to be old barges but now I seriously like the look of the majority of the cars they make.

We looked at a 93 sport (i think?) before we bought the Beemer

Don't like convertables at all myself, but apart from that it's a nice car :thumb:

As far as I know, The old Saab 93 shared the same basic chassis with the Vectra - but everything else was Saab. This time round it's all Saab from the ground up.

But yes - Saab are owned by GM, as is Vauxhall.

Same basic platform but different suspension et cetera. Nicer drive too apparently.
