    aren't they giant thumb screws?

Other than cutting some down to use to secure some internals, i dont really see how you're gonna use them. Unless you use them to secure the side panel but that doesn't really fit with the case though.

Hi, I am new and your great orange case inspired me to sign up! Great work!

Use those nice screws on your next case. This one doesnt need them! If you are looking for more, they are called socket head screws or perhaps cap head bolts.

    Good luck!

New update... ready for paint ....

    Jubiii update time ...
I have worked the whole day, to get the case more stable, and ready for paint.

The piece i showed you guys before.. it done now, and its a little bit wet.. but you get the idea...:

Here i used a nut, cuz i fittet perfectly, and it maked the "bay-tower" more stable..: (I used that metal-putty i just recived today, to make it fit together)

Here i maked a "angle-thing" .. also to make the case more stable..:

    And one more..:

Here is the "wood-frame," without the "metal-frame"..: [The naked-wood needs to be black, I know it (I´m doing it tomorrow)]

Here is the "metal-frame," without the "wood-frame"..: [It needs a paint-job very bad, I know it (I´m doing it tomorrow)] [And some vacum-cleaning and so on]

More metal, which also needs a paint-job very bad, I know it (I´m doing it tomorrow)

Thats all for today folks ..

Looks like a kick-ass system, but remember that the Seagate Savvio harddrives are SAS, not SATA!
So you'll need an add-in SAS-controller card to connect it to the motherboard, since the ASUS' has none.

You would be better off buying a Western Digital Raptor 74GB or 150GB, they're also 10kRPM drives.
And with the money you save, you can get a bigger second harddisk (like an 1TB WD Green Power hdd).

    Good luck with your mod!

black on the inside will look good, especially against stuff like mobo, hdds, etc

congrats zwinks on bringing a new member to the forums with your cool case  you've probably brought more over that i haven't noticed?

Orange and black always gets my vote. If a lot of the interior wood is seen, my vote is for orange as the outside for contrast. Good work.
